Last summer my in laws and my niece Lilly came up to visit us for Crosby’s first birthday. Lilly was craving a strawberry banana smoothie, so I made her my favorite recipe.

Somehow I never got around to sharing it here on the blog until now! Oops.

This healthy strawberry banana smoothie is made with just 3 ingredients, and so thick and creamy that it tastes like ice cream.

Perfect for hot summer months!

  • 4 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen banana chunks
  • 1 cup milk of choice 

  1. Add the milk to the bottom of your high speed blender
  2. Add strawberries and frozen bananas on top of the milk
  3. Blend, scraping down the edges if necessary

You will need a high speed blender for this recipe (I love my blendtec). Because this smoothie is so thick, it likely will not blend in a regular blender.
